A note from the founder

When you invite someone into your parent's home, you aren't just looking for a service — you are looking for someone you can trust like family. I'm a Florida native, born and raised here, and I started Sunshine Senior Concierge because I saw firsthand how overwhelming it can be to balance a busy career, family life, and the changing needs of an aging parent. My own family lives this story, and the small, steady acts of help — a ride to the cardiologist, a sorted stack of mail, an afternoon of conversation — are what made the difference for us.

I believe aging should be dignified, and that independence is worth preserving. Whether your loved one is settling back home after a hospital or rehab stay, needs a reliable hand with the week's errands, or simply wants a friendly face to share a cup of coffee with, I'm here. My goal is to be the extra set of hands, the reliable driver, and the friendly face that ensures your loved one is safe and happy — so that when you visit, you can just be their child again, not their manager.

Sunshine Senior Concierge proudly serves families across Polk and Hillsborough counties.

How we help

Every family is different. These are the six ways we most often show up for ours.

  • A shopkeeper helping an older man choose groceries in a warm corner store

    Errands & shopping

Grocery runs, prescription pickups, dry cleaning, and the everyday errands that keep a household flowing.

  • An older adult walking outside with a rollator beside a companion on a sunny path

    Appointment escort

Safe, patient transportation and note-taking at medical appointments, hospital visits, and rehab check-ins, so every visit has a witness.

  • Two older women sitting outdoors at a wooden table sharing tea and conversation

    Friendly visits

Conversation, card games, photo albums, and a reliable friendly face on the calendar each week.

  • A caregiver standing smiling beside an older man seated in a wicker chair at home

    Light home tasks

Organization, light meal prep, expired-food checks, settling a loved one in after a hospital or rehab discharge, and keeping walkways safe from clutter.

  • Two seniors heads leaned together laughing while reviewing paperwork with a laptop

    Paperwork & bills

Sorting mail, organizing bills, preparing checks for signing, keeping files in order.

  • Caregiver and senior client sharing a creative moment together

    Wait-at-home services

A trusted companion at the house while a loved one waits for the cable installer, the plumber, or a delivery — so they're never alone with a stranger and you don't have to take the day off work.
